Heliskiing Tour of the Rutor

The tour of the Rutor offers off piste skiing and starts with a helicopter ride from La Thuile (1441m) up to the Ghiacciao del Rutor glacier (3236m) from where you can admire some of the most spectacular views of the mountains in Val d’Aosta. There are two options for the descent. Both routes go through gently winding valleys before getting to the village of Miroir in France (1280m) where a minibus will take you on to the resort of La Thuile - La Rosière from where you will be able to ski along the slopes or off piste back to the starting point.

Cost includes: Services of a mountain guide. The Helicopter flights. Transfer to La Rosière ski area, accident insurance with mountain rescue. ARTVA and climbing harness supplied if needed.
