Freeride is not only synonymous of ‘freedom on skis’ but also of caution, an indispensable prerequisite for off piste skiing.
Our experience as alpine Guides has brought us to the conclusion that taking our clients off piste is no longer suffi cient, and that we now, more than ever, have the duty to share our experience with them.
This is why we have chosen to offer a 3 day course for those who want to try skiing off piste for the fi rst time, as well as one day itineraries aimed at those who are already profi cient skiers.
What is taught: - Practical instruction in the use of ARVA (device for fi nding people under avalanches) and emergency procedures in case of an avalanche
- Theoretical instruction in snow study with practical demonstrations
- Instruction in ski/snowboarding techniques with the expertise of a ski/snowboard instructor.
