Bella Valletta La Thuile:
Departure point: Bella Valletta 2891mt. Arrival point: La Thuile 1441mt. Altitude drop: 1450mt.
This is a particularly beautiful itinerary due to its remote and uncontrolled surroundings. The descent takes place in various valleys that come together lower down. This means you can almost always ski in virgin powder snow leaving your tracks. The only negative aspect of this itinerary is the 20-minute walk up an easy crest, but this may be exactly what preserves the descent so well. Its exposure enables you to fi nd powder snow for many months.
Chaz Dura La Thuile:
Departure point: Chaz Dura 2581mt. Arrival point: La Thuile 1441mt. Altitude drop: 1140mt.
This begins on wide open slopes and ends in the woods near the pistes. The north facing descents preserve the pristine quality of the snow for many months.
La Suches Woods:
Departure point: La Suches 2148mt, Arrival point: La Thuile 1441mt, Altitude drop: 707 mt
A descent through a wood of fi r trees with many different choices of lines.
