The Toula Glacier and the Vallée Blanche descente

Cost includes: Mountain Guide for all day. Accident insurance. Use of safety equipment (Shovel, Arva, Probe) supplied if needed.
Cost does not include: cablecar La Palud- Torino Hut (35 Euro per person) and the Montevers train 21,00 Euro (in case it is not possible to ski down to chamonix for snow lack)

Mont Blanc cable car reaches Ancient Torino Hut in 15 minutes from La Palud. From here it is necessary to walk about 10 minutes along a covered metal staircase to reach the New Torino Hut. All the skiing equipment will be trasposted by a lift: we recommed to use comfortable shoes to walk over the staircase. At the New Torino Hut it will be possible to change boots and prepare for the descent. Outside the Hut along a path prepared by snowcats we will reach in 15 minutes the staircase that brings us on the Toula Glacier. It takes 01.30 hours each descent. (This time could change, depending on the snow condition and the level of the group).
When you finish to ski Toula Glacier, you arrive at the Pavillon station. Here you can rest for a while and then take the cablecar up to the Ancient Torino Hut, and by the covered staircase up to the New Torino Hut. From here in 10 minutes you arrive to Flambeaux Col from where you star the descent of Valleé Blanche.
At the end of the Glacier, it could be possible to take the little Train of Montenvers to go down to Chamonix if the snow is not enough to ski.
Return to Courmayeur by bus.
